Chris is a Professional Land Surveyor with 20 years of experience, holding licenses in OR, WA, ID, NV & UT. His experience includes performing field and office survey support on a range of projects from small boundary and topographic surveys to very large federal projects. Operating as director and manager of surveying teams for the past 10 years, he prides himself on finding the best balance between cost, quality and timeliness for each project. Chris graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology’s Geomatics program in 2004 and returned the following year to instruct courses. He has been instructing evening courses at Clark College’s Land Surveying and Geomatics Associates Degree program since 2007. chris.sherby@sflands.com

Matt is a Professional Land Surveyor & Certified Federal Surveyor (CFedS) with nearly 20 years of experience across the western United States. His experience includes surveys for cadastral, control, design, and construction as well as surveying for the utility and industrial sectors. Matt possess’ strong project management skills to manage multiple large projects along with meeting client specific deliverables, aggressive deliverable schedules and project standards. Matt possesses a passion for the profession of land surveying and it shows in his work product and client communication. Matt holds professional land surveying licenses in OR, WA, ID, MT, AK & NM. Matt Graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology’s Geomatics Baccalaureate program in 2005. Jon Ellinger, Remote Sensing Manager

Jon is a Part 107 Remote Pilot as well as an ASPRS Certified Photogrammetrist and Mapping Scientist in Remote Sensing with 10+ years of experience working with aerial data in the geospatial industry.  His previous experience includes serving as the Advanced Imaging Lead - managing a team of 10-15 analysts and technicians for a large corporation and most recently owning/operating his own UAV/drone Photogrammetry business.  Mr. Ellinger has worked with a broad range of technologies such as LiDAR, hyperspectral, and thermal-infrared data with a principal expertise in the production and analysis of high-resolution multispectral aerial imagery.  He has performed work for a diverse range of clients in sectors such as Transportation, Environmental & Resource Management, AEC Industry, Government, and Energy Utilities.  Included in this work was the production and analysis of over 14,000 miles of utility corridor and over 7 million acres of wide-area aerial surveys focusing on planimetrics, habitat/vegetation analysis, and emergency response.   Jon earned his Masters Degree in Geography/Remote Sensing from Oregon State University in 2010. jon.ellinger@sflands.com

Mr. Barrett is a former owner of HLB & Associates - a firm that served the North Coast communities since 1975. Prior to Dale's involvement with HLB, he served as the Clatsop County Surveyor. Dale's professional career is rich with decades of coastal surveying experience. He has been an active member in the communities along the coast for his entire career, and continues his involvement today.
