S&F Land Services is seeking a survey technician/crew chief to report from our Seaside, OR office. We are seeking an individual with experience leading field survey efforts and experience performing drafting and other office-related survey tasks. Field survey efforts will require working as either a one or two-person crew. The successful candidate must possess:

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Ability to operate Trimble GPS/GNSS equipment consisting of Static/RTK/RTN observations

• Experience operating Trimble Business Center (TBC)

• Ability to perform topographic and boundary surveys

• Ability to perform construction calculations

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to travel – approximately 25% of the time

• Must be able to work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions

• Capable of hiking/walking short distances in sometimes strenuous and uneven terrain

• Valid Driver’s License

• LSIT preferred

S&F Land Services is looking for someone who is interested in, and able to, perform surveys from “field to finish.” The successful candidate would prep the field work, perform the field work, analyze and adjust the data, and draft the final product – all under the direction and supervision of our licensed Professional Land Surveyors.

We offer mentoring from our Professional Land Surveyors with decades of experience, while allowing the employee some autonomy and freedom to work remotely and on any schedule that satisfies our project/client’s needs.
