We are a Land Surveying and Remote Sensing firm with an amazing team in the Portland, OR / Vancouver, WA area. We utilize conventional survey methods, terrestrial LiDAR (3D scanning) and UAS aerial LiDAR and photogrammetric mapping to produce standardized and/or customizable deliverables to our clients. Our team tackles topographic and boundary/ROW projects large and small throughout the northwest - supporting projects for federal, state, city, utility, transportation, power/energy, industrial, and private residential/commercial development.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Field Technician to support our land surveying projects. The ideal candidate would have experience using total stations, static scanners, and GPS equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adjust and operate surveying instruments.
• Perform differential level circuits with level rods from benchmarks to establish project elevations.
• Record survey measurements and descriptive data, using notes, drawings, sketches, and inked tracings.
• Conduct surveys to ascertain the locations of natural features and human-made structures.
• Search for section corners, property monuments, and other evidence of occupation.
• Set and recover stakes, mark;s, and other monumentation.
• Perform manual labor, such as cutting brush for lines, carrying stakes, rebar, other heavy items, and equipment neeed to perform work.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher
